FC Dulles Golazo!! Summer League 2021

 League Highlights:

  • Provide a fun, safe, outdoor league for players of all skill levels to stay active and compete through the Summer months;
  • 6 games- Teams may play on weeknights (Monday-Thursday) and weekends (Saturdays only).
  • Join as an individual or join with your team. Individual players will be assigned to teams by the Club's Technical Dept
  • Game format:
    • U6-U8 age groups play 4 v 4 w/ no keepers (4 x 10 minute quarters).
    • U9-U19 age groups play 7 v 7 w/ keepers (2 x 25 minute halves).
  • Referees for U9 & older games.
  • REC & Travel boys and girls divisions for U9 & older (if enough teams). Age groups U6-U8 are coed. The League Director may combine age groups and divisions depending on the number of players and teams.
  • The maximum game day roster is 14 players. Teams with full rosters are encouraged to form two teams. Teams entering more than one team will receive a $50 discount off of each team.   • Competitive Levels (Please indicate during registration):
    • Premier: 1st & 2nd level travel teams- Upper divisions of NCSL, CCL, NPL, ECNL
    • Champion: 3rd & 4th level travel teams Lower levels of NCSL
    • Challenge: REC House, SFL
  • Awards for division winners
  • For administative purposes we'll be using the current 2020-2021 season for age groups (U9-2012, U10-2011, U11-2010, U12-2009, U13-2008...etc.)
  • No practices are included with this program.
  • Current COVID safety protocols to be followed

Rosters

For administrative purposes, teams will be using current season (2020-2021) rosters and age groups for this competition.Travel Teams are required to use their 2020-2021 official state rosters w/ up to 8 guest players allowed. Guest players are required to have an active travel player ID card or REC ID card. The maximum game day roster is 14 players. Teams with full rosters are encouraged to form two teams. Teams entering more than one team will receive a $50 discount for each team. 

REC Teams are required to have a REC player card & roster provided by your home club or FC Dulles can provide at an addition cost of $15/player.

All teams must submit a copy of your roster and have your player ID cards available to present to the referee prior to each game as part of the routine check-in procedure.Guest players are to be hand written on the bottom of the official roster.

A copy of the roster with any guest players listed on the bottom is required to be turned into the field coordinator prior to every game. 

Teams will be required to submit their individual player data (player name, player DOB, address in .csv or .xlsx format) to the league prior to July 1. Teams will also be required to upload players names and jersey #'s to their Summer League team page in Demosphere.

Communication

Communication from the league will be via e-mail and this website. Players signed up as individuals and placed on an FC Dulles team will be using TeamSnap as their communicaiton platform.

Acceptance Policy

Payment must be received before a team will be considered for acceptance.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds except for the following reasons:

  • If the tournament is cancelled due to COVID, there will be a refund of Summer league fees of 100% now until the start of the first week of games on June 14.
    • Once the season starts, no refunds. 
    • There are no refunds for teams or individuals that withdraw unrelated to COVID cancelling the season.
  • There are no refunds should games be cancelled due to weather. Since we have a very short window for games any games cancelled due to weather conditions will be recorded as a 0-0 tie.
  • Refunds will only be given to teams when there are not enough teams to form a bracket. The minimum amount of teams to form a bracket is three. The League Director may combine age groups and divisions depending on the number of players and teams to form a bracket.

COVID Guidelines and protocols

FC Dulles guidelines will employ current guidelines and protocols for COVID based on County, State, and Federal mandates. 

Team Reps will be required to submit the COVID process waiver attesting that each player has signed the COVID Hold Harmless Waiver and that each player will perform their health check prior to each game.
