Prepare to play Travel Soccer: ADAP for Highly Skilled U6-U8 Players Born in 2014, 2015, 2016


FC Dulles is conducting evaluations for the Spring 2022 ADAP program for advanced U6-U8 player (boys and girls) born in 2014-2016.

Evaluations will be held on Monday nights in January & February at Greenbriar Park #5 from 5:30-6:30 PM and in March on Monday nights from 5:30-6:30 PM at Poplar Tree Park #2.

All players are required to register first before attending.

ADAP- Advance Development Academy Program Overview


"The Crossover to Travel Soccer"

ADAP is an advanced year around training program for U7 - U8 players who are looking to learn, improve and be part of a travel team. This program is for players who love the game of soccer and are passionate and committed to the game to become the best that they can be to reach the next level. The objective of the ADAP is to prepare players to become FC Dulles Academy Travel players.

  • What We Teach: The ADAP program utilizes the FC Dulles Curriculum to focus on building individual technical skills including passing & receiving, agility, & coordination through age-appropriate small-sided games in a fun, learning environment. The objective of the ADAP is to prepare players for the next level: FC Dulles’s Academy Travel Program

  • ADAP Training & Game Schedule- Fall- Sept. Late August) thru early Nov.); Spring (late March/early April thru early June). Training 1 hr. sessions, 2x/week (typicially M/F from 6-7 PM). Competition- 1 game/weekend (late-Saturday afternoon 4pm or 5pm) in-house, and when possible, competition with neighboring clubs. The club may also choose to play in an end-of-the-season festival (xtra cost of approx. $40/player/festival) typically in mid-Nov. and mid-June. 

Winter outdoor training (1x/weekday- 7 sessions) and weekend competition (Golazo!! Outdoor Winter League) are included in the tuition. Winter indoor futsal training and competition (if the Club decides to play) are additional costs. 

  • Our Coaches: ADAP coaches are members of FC Dulles’s technical staff led by Club Technical Director, J. Marcelo Gangotena. ADAP coaches are experienced in implementing FC Dulles’s curriculum and possess current USSF coaching licenses, are Safe Sport certiified, and have passed criminal background checks. Coaches are selected for the ADAP based on their ability to teach, the ability to nurture advanced players, and their ability to instill a love and passion for the game of soccer.

  • Evaluations: ADAP coaches conduct evaluations to identify ADAP players in June (and throughout the summer- including evaluation sessiions in August) for the following seasonal year starting in the Fall. Rolling evaluations are conducted through the Winter for the Spring season on Moinday nights in January, February, & March. Please contact Coach Marcelo ( to arrange for an evaluation. All players must pre-register before attending an evaluation session.
  • Tuition: $595 for full 2021-22 season ($300 for the Spring season only). Includes FFX County Field User fees, VYSA insurance fee. Installment plans are available.
  • Not included in tuition fee: Required ADAP uniform for new players ($60)

  • Effective 1/2/2020: Credit card orders will be charged an additional service fee. The service fee applies to all online payments and covers the cost of the Demosphere registration system, including data privacy, security and PCI compliance. Customers paying by cash or check will not incur a service fee and will not be an active registration until payment is received.

FC Dulles is committed to serving the needs of our community and dedicated to providing all players an opportunity to play who have a desire to learn and improve as soccer players, and to develop a passion for the game of soccer.  Need-based scholarships are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Parents of scholarship recipients are expected to volunteer in some capacity at the club's discretion to support the club's programs.
